We talked to István Szabó, the founder and owner of Faster Labor
In our first blog post, we will talk about the creation of Faster Lab, as more and more requests are coming in asking for specific information about what Faster Lab does and how it can help children in their sporting or everyday lives.
As an electrical engineer, I know how important numbers and data are in the day-to-day running of a company. But data is not only important in the life of a company, it is also a guide in many areas of life, including sport. Although I didn’t play sport professionally, it became part of my everyday life through my child; I was looking for ways to visualise everyday training in sport in the form of data. I have always been amazed by the play of athletes who can control, influence and possibly decide a match with a high level of playing intelligence, with the help of their teammates and the team.
As a practicing parent, I was looking for the opportunity to help my sporty child develop by giving him the best possible things. Basically, the idea of creating FASTER started from there. For us, sport, health and mental skills go hand in hand. We believe that children’s abilities can be developed continuously if they are given the right stimuli and the right workload.

“As a practising parent, I was looking for the opportunity to help my sporty child develop by giving him the best possible things.”
The FASTER Lab’s good-humoured and effective training sessions, led by qualified coaches, quickly became known and became a place for more and more children to receive individual training, so we also ran the Lab with ever greater enthusiasm, interest and openness to new things.
We were looking for tools that are already fully integrated into the training methodologies of Western European sports clubs, in order to help children and athletes develop to the maximum extent possible.
In our more than two years of experience, we have seen that the tools we use help children to develop. Their progress can be objectively measured: the tools we use in the FASTER Lab give us the opportunity to take measurements. The measured data show the individual’s performance, comparing it with previous measurements to observe their progress or where they have changed. We can also display and compare the child’s measured data with data from children of the same age in other countries.
We don’t claim to have invented anything, but simply to take advantage of the developmental stage of children, which is geared towards conjunctive development, and try to develop them in everyday life with as much stimulus and as many tasks as possible, so that they can cope easily and more easily in both sport and everyday life.
The FASTER Lab is open to everyone: whether you are a professional or amateur athlete, a young child with a high need for exercise, or someone who likes to compete with themselves, likes to compete with the results they produce.

“The FASTER Lab is open to everyone: whether you are a professional or amateur athlete, a young child with a high need for exercise, or someone who likes to compete with themselves, likes to compete with the results they produce.”
The FASTER Lab does not aim to lure players and athletes from a sports club; our goal is to help children develop with the tools and training methods we use.
I am at the disposal of coaches, professionals and parents for any questions related to the operation of the FASTER Lab; the FASTER in Győr and Budapest is waiting for all those who are interested, who want to try themselves with the help of innovative sports equipment, or who are looking for a place for their child to develop in a modern, well-equipped environment, where they can be guided by excellent coaches!
